Regular CNM students automatically have a library account every semester in which they are enrolled. 


Your CNM Online Library Account requires a one-time activation on your part.


To activate your CNM Library Account for the first time:

  1. Go to the CNM Library Account Sign In Page
  2. Click the "Set / Reset Password" button
  3. Enter Your CNM ID #
    • Your CNM ID # can be found on your CNM ID, or through myCNM on your course schedule
  4. Set the password of your choosing

(Note: You are setting the password because this account password is not associated with your CNM email, myCNM, and / or Brightspace account password)


If you encounter any problems or issues activating your library account, please contact us via: 


Set up or activate your library account to: 

  • request a book be placed on hold behind the counter for you,
  • request to pick up materials available at one CNM library location to another campus library most convenient for you,
  • request or renew interlibrary loan (ILL) materials,
  • renew materials that you already have checked out, or 
  • view what library materials are checked out to your account and if there are any fines or bills associated with it
