There are two (2) login screens that you could run into trying to access library resources.

Screen #1

*This means you are trying to access either library databases directly, or materials located within a database. It is verifying you are affiliated with CNM.

Please make sure you are logging in using your:

  • CNM username - *Your CNM email address without the @cnm.edu
  • Password - *Your password should be the same as your CNM email, myCNM, or Brightspace account

Once you are logged in, you will see this screen:

*When you see this page, you are now logged in but need to navigate back to the resource you tried to open.

Troubleshooting:

  1. We recommend trying the Remote (Off-Campus) Access VPN Work Around by going to https://virtualdesktop.cnm.edu
    1. Clicking on "VMware Horizon HTML Access"
    2. Clicking on "Open Computer Lab"
    3. Opening a browser (preferably Chrome) and navigate back to the area you were originally trying to access.

*This acts as if you are accessing the library databases through a wired computer on campus.

  1. If you cannot login because you cannot access https://virtualdesktop.cnm.edu, yourCNM email, myCNM, or Brightspace:

We recommend resetting your CNM password by either contacting ITS directly at (505) 224-4357, or resetting your CNM password here: https://www.cnm.edu/depts/information-technology-services/its-services-catalog/cnm-login-information.

  1. If you have already reset your password and are still unable to login, we recommend:
    1. Closing all extra browsers and tabs on your device
    2. Clearing your cache (also known as clearing your browser history),
    3. Waiting 5 minutes, and then
    4. Trying to login again

  1. If you are still not able to login after following the directions above, please contact us.

Screen #2

*If you get this screen, you are trying to login to your library account.

Please make sure you are signing in using your:

  1.  CNM ID number.
  2.  The password you created when you activated your account.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Not sure if you activated your account yet?  Learn how to activate your account.
  2. Can't remember your password you created?  Just click the "Set / Reset Password" button.
