Q. What is an includED textbook and how do I receive access to it?

You are automatically billed and charged a digital book fee on top of your tuition rate when you sign up for a course that has an includED textbook. 

From CNM's Fees and Book Charges page:

"IncludED is a program that includes the price of your class materials, either digital or physical materials, in the cost of your classes. Not all sections of applicable courses will have includED charges.

If the book is digital, it will be available in your CNM Brightspace account on the first day of the class.
If the book is physical, please wait until you receive your order confirmation in your CNM email account that the book is ready to be picked up at the Bookstore located at Main Campus in the Marketplace@CNM Building.  A photo ID is required at time of pick-up.

Note: If your book is digital and you would like a hard copy, contact the CNM Bookstore for a printed copy."

To see if your book is in the includED model: 

• Please see the CNM's Fees and Book Charges page.

If your book is includED: 

• This means that you do not need to purchase a textbook at the bookstore or online. 
• Most instructors will include a link in your CNM Brightspace course where you can access your textbook. 

If you know that your course textbook is includED by following the above steps and have not received direction as to how to access your includED textbook: 

• We recommend contacting the instructor of your class to ask where you can access your includED textbook in your Brightspace course.
